Viklang Sahara Samiti Delhi (VSSD), we are running various programs for
Marginalized section of the Society and Persons with Disabilities for Social Inclusion and
Sustainable Development through livelihood opportunity. Also, through Viklang
Margdarshan Kendra (VMK) Rehabilitation services are providing to Person with
Disabilities that key focus of Endeavour to improve and enrich quality of life of PwDs
through innovative strategies & services and long term value creation. Therefore, during
this current situation VSSD working on various activities conducted in VT Centre’s and
VMK by overcomes the existing challenges of the LOCKDOWN as below:
Online Classes have been started for students through what’s app groups so that students can learn or get familiar about their courses and can take their classes during COVID situation.
Instructors have uploaded small video clips of their courses and share them to their what’s app group so that students can grasp something by watching these tutorial videos.
Follow up taken by previous batch students and through video learning modules instructors preparing the students for their exams
Many of the Persons with Disabilities and other Marginalized sections who are daily wagers and badly impacted with the lock down and are left with no source of income. So, VSSD providing immediate Monetary Relief to the Needy Persons such as- Daily wages worker, Mentally Challenged, Persons with Disabilities, Widows and others so that they can have something to eat. We are always being there to provide them the much needed psychological and moral support.
We are providing the Food, Ration and other daily essentials to the Head of the Family of Persons with Disabilities (who are Differently Abled and are the only key member of the family) and the items we are providing to them are- Wheat Flour, Rice, Oil, Salt, Condiment, Soup (2 varieties), Pulse, Sugar, Tea Leaf, Colgate. Also serving ration to the PwDs families (whose parents are normal and their children having disability) families benefited under the Ration Distribution facility.
We are providing the Food, Ration and other daily essentials to the Vulnerable sections of the society such as- Widows, Destitute Families and Daily wages worker.
We had Distributed Masks to the Community Females so that they could able to protect themselves during interaction in the community.
VSSD Team spreading awareness in the community to avoid Mass gathering and maintain social distancing and Distributed Sanitizers to the Senior Citizens
In VMK services we are providing relief to the PwDs in various issues such as Pension (New & Old) granted by Social Welfare Department, Disability Certificate, Nirmaya Policy, UDID Card (Unique ID), E-Pass, E-ration apply of (both PwD & Normal), Guidance through telephone and Social Media, facilitated Corona related queries and guidance.
We are also helping those students who are not able to reach their homes and stucked due to Lockdown and reached their homes.
